How to prepare for your Shiatsu:

  • Wear loose, warm, comfortable clothing - preferably cottons.
  • Do not eat heavily in the two hours prior to your session.
  • Do not drink alcohol before or after your session.
  • After your session, drink plenty of water to smooth the flow of changes through the system.
  • If possible, avoid strenuous or stressful activities immediately after your session.

Your Shiatsu session will take place on a futon at floor level.  You will stay fully clothed.  Following your session, you should experience a feeling of increased vitality.  You will feel invigorated, yet relaxed.

Your Shiatsu session will include a comprehensive diagnosis and recommended treatment plan. Each session will last for approximately one hour.  Your first session may be slightly longer since your Practitioner will take a detailed case history to develop a complete picture of your health according to the principles of oriental medicine.
